Aion Stuff

Today I get home from work, sit down at my pc, and go to log into Aion only to see that I have been banned. I assume that this has something to do with the mass banning of rmt people, botters, gold spammers, etc. which I have had nothing to do with. I am lvl 30 and have never had more than 350k kinah at one time, I have never responded to any whispers from gold sellers, etc. etc. I went to call NCSoft Customer Support to remedy the problem. I go to NCSoft website and find this number: +1-512-498-4000 and called. The number is answered by computer which says to type in the extension for customer service. At this point a voice says you are being transferred and I was hung up on. I tried this repeatedly with the same result. I then googled to find another number and found this number: 1-866-367-9516 on a forum. I call this number. I then had to wait 30 minutes on hold before my call was answered. The individual I talked to was actually great. He got my info and looked up some stuff on his end and said I was banned due to a chat violation. I told him I had never ever typed a swear word in chat so far, I just joined a guild, have only talked to my 2 friends that play the game as well, talked in groups, and used LFG to find a party. He didn’t give me any specifics as to what exactly I had done to get banned and told me that he could not undo the ban, it was done by someone in game and someone in game would have to undo it. He stated that he was not sure that I would be unbanned, but based on what he saw it appeared that I would be. He stated that I would have to wait 24-72 hrs to be unbanned.

I am obviously pretty nyerked at this point and cannot post this on the actual aion forums due to my ban. Aion owes me nothing, but I have paid for this month of play and have been denied access earlier due to server queues and now due to an unfair ban.

To make this a little more constructive I would like to offer some suggestions. First, if NCSoft could make the customer service number accurate and easier to find. Second, if someone at customer service believes that I should not have been banned based on what they have seen why can they not just unban me then and there? I suppose this is in place to reduce people rightfully banned from returning to the game, but for me this is not the case.

Anyone else have this happen to them legitimately? I know plenty of people cry that they did nothing when they get banned, but I guarantee this is not true in my case and if someone from NCSoft sees this and has evidence to the contrary or more detailed info as to my ban feel free to share (this is my ingame character name as well).
