Well i was thinking about playing aion again, i had recently stopped due to life issues and such but have decided i need a new challenge. I was talking to one of the guys that is massively into aion and he recommended me leveling an assassin. I was thinking that being a stealthy ninja type might be fun so i started leveling.

The first couple of levels were ok, slightly painful but it seems to get longer and longer as you play on. Anyway the same friend that recommended me start leveling the assassin, said grab this guide and have a read it will save you a massive amount of time in leveling and learning to play every aspect of the class.

Now some people say don’t bother playing an assassin, but if you have the skills in this guide you can make it work exceptionally well. The Killer Guides Assassin Guide deals with everything you need to know so you dont end up walking around like a noob with the wrong gear and skills. I found it very useful as not only does it recommend where to go to level but what gear you should be grabbing and where to get it.

They even say you can level your assassin within about 2 weeks, now im no hard core gamer (married with kids) so i don’t have a lot of time to stuff around figuring out all of the intricacies of this complex class, so i found i could just read this guide and it was like having a pro teach me the skills so i could just go out there and play with no stress.

So what the #@$% is stigma? Well lets just say, if you have the right setup it makes massive difference to the class and can decide between winning and loosing. In the guide it details exactly how to use them to make the Assassin almost untouchable. Sure you can figure out exactly what to use for you self, but who has the time to waste on this really especially when someone has already done all the hard work for you.

What are the best Assassin Macros? As the assassin is such a keyboard mashingly friendly (or unfriendly) class, macros are definitely your savior here. There is a list of the best macro’s and how to use them effectively in this guide that i found excessively useful.

So anyway as someone with not a massive amount of time to enjoy the assassin class, it was great to be able to read a guide written by someone who actually knows the ins and outs of the class and exactly how to level it, and gear it properly so i could just get straight into the fun that is Aion.
