is this good? and b, why do i get visual glitches, my comps like a year old

my glitches include but are not limted to:

the ground and surroundings turn white
the game just lags massivly viualy
air effects like bubles or #@$%# become black 2d boxes that slowy drift towards me that become bigger and bigger untill they black out my screen for a second
npcs dont acutlly show sometimes
and in the desert of elthan, every time that sand storm effect is turned on i lag like a mofo
