First of all, my ranger isn’t 45 yet, so FS + BF isn’t an answer.
If a cleric is even 1 lvl above me, that’s it. It’s not that I can’t silence them, silence still lands, they don’t stack mres yet – but I just don’t have enough damage to burst them, and if they manage to get a heal in between stuns, sleep and silence, they heal away the best part of the damage. If they also use hp pots along with this… they are immortal.
The only clerics I can kill are those engaged with mobs or 2+ lvls below me. Even templars aren’t that difficult.
I don’t have a speed bow yet, though. Maybe that’s the deciding element.

If u got miragent or fenrir bow – what second bow better use for making one in 1.9 ?

I decide to get AP for 50 non-elite bow.

It gives 10% pvpattack , 6 slots for manastones and 20% of attack stats (like 50 elite one).

And it will cost 600+k AP.

Is this best choice ?

If u got some ideas lets speak about it.

Sometimes I lose the ability to use my auto-attack in the middle of time, for a random duration of time. Nothing I ca do brings it back.

Whats up with that and anyone have a clue to fix it?

Seems to occure more often when jump-shooting to bypass animation time (happens with my ranger and any other class with instant skill but long-animation). ..

Heya, I’m on the referred trial of Aion right now and I’m either going to make an Elyos Sorc or some kind of ranger. If I pick ranger I don’t know any of the Elyos/Asmo benefits and would love it if someone could outline them for me! Thanks! PS: I came here from WoW where I was a Mage and all I do is PVP. Alright so I have a weird issue while I’m out pvping. When I grind my Stunning Shot->Rupture Arrow is smooth with almost no delay. When I pvp however after I use Stunning Shot and Rupture Arrow pops up when I try to use it there’s a delay, it waits like 1-2 seconds before it even goes off. During this time Devotion is counting down, and the target is able to recover and start attacking me.

Any ideas what might be causing it, or what I can do to reduce the time?

Typical scenario: Bestial Fury, Focused Shots both on. I’m in flight and the target is normally stationary. Distance to target is around 7-8m to account for any knockback and prevent out of range messages. Ping hovers between 37-69ms.

So i’m trying to decide if I should get the lvl 50 blue AP gear or the lvl 40 non elite gold gear until I can start working on better pieces.

Any thoughts?

I am new to this game and I made an Elyos ranger.
So i had a question, do rangers still do the whole jump shot routine even later on levels?
By later on, I mean 40s or so.
How about PVP?

So I’ve been working towards the lvl 40 elite bow (about 300k ap) and I have made so little progress the last couple of weeks…

Currently I am sitting at about 100k points… and sadly I’m averaging about 5-6k of AP a day. That comes to about 40 more days if I keep this up… however it would actually probably be longer since I’ll be higher rank gaining less AP and losing more AP when I die. And whats even crappier is that I spend about 3-5 hrs a day getting this much AP already… god I dont want to spend 10hrs a day getting that much when I’m 200k+ of AP.

So heres my question, what can I do to increase my AP gain? I hear stories about people getting 30K+ at day makes me wonder if they have a secret or they just have no life whatsoever.

At the moment this is what my day typically entails:

Dredgion – 1x or 2x.. usually I do pick up groups and 95% of the time I lose so I only yield about 1-2k of AP every run.

PvPing – if you look at my gear its only meh, I’m only averaging 4.5k hp and I’m not at capped attack speed yet.. so you probably guessed it.. I usually lose at pvp.. 75% of the time

Farming Guards – I still get 55 AP from these things, usually do an hour or two of these if I can if I don’t get ganked over and over again

Any suggestions as what I can do to starting grabbing 10k+ of AP? I’m currently not in a legion now lets keep that in mind for the suggestions.

Is it true that the blue\gold expert +attack speed 40 bow >>> all other bows except abyss stuff if you +10 it?
My ranger alt will hit 40 very soon. I was not too enamored of the endgame, and I have less time to play now, so I plan to stay at low 40s, rift and generally have fun pvping.
I have this bow: Krall Grand Chieftain’s Longbow. I got it basically because 1) it was selling really cheap 2) it rivals Betoni’s stats while being lvl 40 3) I haven’t seen a blue expert bow on sale for weeks, and when I did, it cost 7 mil. Which I don’t have at the moment.
Anyway, now I’m thinking whether I should +++ this one, or keep my money (& get more) for a expert bow. Is it really that superior – or does it only become superior when you overenchant it to +10 to make up for the lack of attack?

As per Aion version 1.9 all classes receive a skill to defend against stuns.

So far ive leveled my ranger to lvl 23. Its not too bad but i wanted to get rupture shot before i made any decisions. While talking to the Ranger chat i realized that everyone at 50 or 45+ has Beastial Fury and Focused Shots.

I wanted to know if rangers are still viable pre-lvl 45 and after lvl 45 without BF and FS..?
I hope to get at least BF but i doubt ill end up having 8M by the time i hit 45.

I don’t play a ranger yet, but have been considering one. Awesome looking skills and gear are a factor for me so when I saw a awesome skill recently just had to know what it was.

It is pretty unique.

Basically the ranger gets in a shooting animation and about 8 clones form up 4 on either side so it looks like a line of rangers are firing. This was from a 47 asmo ranger if level or side make any difference.

One thing when looking at the class was the lack of anything flashy or eye catching with moves. It seemed to be more glowy arrow 1, glowy arrow 2, traps, normal shots. Having something like the above is a real eye opener for aesthetics.

So what is the skill that has the ranger make a line of archers shoot? :plshelp:
