Riven
Discipline, Desire, Dedication
Riven is a legion that has been around for 4 years, through various games. Currently we are in a rebuilding phase in Aion- as many of our members have decided that this game is not for them. As a result we are recruiting all classes.
Focus:
Our focus currently is leveling and small group pvp (rifting). We have no level requirement- but are looking for active, contributing, mature people to fill our ranks. We ask that you also are open to using Ventrilo (as that is our main form of communication) and forums.
Website: Home : Riven – US – Kaisinel – Aion – Guild Launch Guild Hosting
Alliance Interest:
We are also currently interested in building an alliance of multiple smaller legions for large scale pvp. Any legions of similar mindset are encourage to talk to Anara.

Thanks, and may the wind guide you.
P.S. Our website is coming soon! It is currently under construction and will include a roster with crafting information and alternate character info, along with discussion forums!

Site is still under construction, be advised!
Absolute Zero is currently recruiting players level 35+. If you are interested in joining please contact Ali or Vivifica in game, and they will go over any important information with you (and possibly send you an invite). Here is a little bit about us.
HOW OLD IS THE LEGION?
We are one of the oldest legions in the game, having been around since launch. However, almost no one is left from the original Absolute Zero except co-founder Recover. I came shortly after launch. Our membership fluctuates between 70-90 active players, almost all of which ate level 35+. Most are 40+.
HOW HARDCORE IS THE LEGION?
Absolute Zero is moderately hardcore. In other words, we expect our members to play pretty much every day. However, obviously, real life obligations come up all the time. We boot members who are inactive for over a week, unless they give us advanced notice on the forums. Aion should have legions for all players of all types from super hardcore to the player who plays once every couple of weeks. However, Absolute Zero is not looking for the latter. Basically, we expect our members to be ACTIVE, not EXCESSIVE (i.e. daily or weekly playtime requirement).
WHAT IS THE LEGION LIKE?
The legion website and legion chat are typically pretty funny/fun. Our members get a good deal of laughs each time they play. That is, assuming they are not overly conservative. Anything is fair game in legion chat. So assuming you don’t mind a healthy dose of adult humor and the occasional outrageous comment, you will probably have a great time in Absolute Zero. And a good bunch of us like to mess around and troll in LFG.
We don’t take ourselves too seriously.
DO WE PVP?
Yes. We PvP. But it is still a work in progress. We are still working towards the point where we can regularly field a full 24 person raid, with all members in the mid 40s and up, when forts go vulnerable. At the present time we tend to form alliances with other legions. However, we are actively and quickly working towards developing a regular, dependable PvP fort raiding force.
WHO DO WE WANT?
We want players levels 35+ who play every day, enjoy a good laugh, and (most importantly) are dedicated to the legion. A successful legion has to have a patient, loyal player base. A successful legion is not the work of the Brigadier General alone, or even the leadership as a whole, but the collective effort of every single person in the legion, each bringing to the table what their playtime and experience will allow them to bring. We do not want legion-hoppers or people who judge the worth of a legion solely by whether there are currently any forts on the map that belong to the legion. Once everyone devotes themself to the betterment of the legion, come #@$% or high water, the legion will be successful. This is the type of atmosphere and the type of player Absolute Zero wants.
WHO ARE THE LEADERS?
I am currently Brig. Gen. I have only been in that position for a few weeks, so I am still filling out my roster of Centurions. But currently we have Cherry, who is sort of my right-hand man and who heads up our PvP/Fort Raids, Hotness, who handles all administrative matters dealing with the website, Ali and Vivifica, who are our legion recruiters, Ashee, who is in charge of organization and distribution of the legion vault, and Amarra, who heads up and organizes our Alt Legion (the name of which will not be mentioned here
)
WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR PLAYERS WITH EXPERIENCE IN MMOS as Raid Leaders or Group Event Leaders!!! We need people who are capable of getting on Vent and organizing/commanding alliances for Fort Raids as well as alliances for PvE world bosses, etc. IF YOU THINK YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED, PLEASE IMMEDIATELY CONTACT ANBRI or CHERRY in game!
ABOUT ME
I am a 27 year old attorney from the Philadelphia area (actually living in Wilmington Delaware). My undergrad degrees were from the University of Delaware in History and Philosophy. My MMO experience includes Everquest 2, Age of Conan, Warhammer Online, and now Aion. The only MMO I got to level cap on (before Aion) was Conan, where I was a level 80 Priest of Mitra. As everyone on the Ellyos side knows, I am our token homosexual and never tire of making immature gay jokes in /3 LFG chat. And as everyone should know, I’m very rarely serious. So take what I say with a grain of salt.
I look forward to meeting any new recruits and Happy New Year to all.

Shadow Congress is a Level 3 Legion we’re fast approaching our tenth year in MMOs! We are in full recruitment mode!
All classes, all levels on the Elyos side of Kaisinel.
Who are we?
SC is a group of close-knit, dedicated Everquest players that have been looking for a new home for their love of gaming since the decline of Everquest. In Everquest, we were one of the oldest guilds on our server, arguably the oldest active guild, at almost 9 years in EQ. We had a sterling reputation on our server; well known for our dedication to one another, our competence, and our adherence to extremely fair gameplay for all.
In our tenth year, we are very interested in meeting like-minded individuals who want to be part of an organization that is above the game they play. Where the friendships we share outlive any game, and people become more like family than "folks we know in this game". We’re even crazy enough to have irl meets where you actually get to meet the people you spend so much of your time with.
We’re not interested in being an uber, burnout, flash-in-the-pan, zergfest guild. We’re interested in reaching our utmost potential through the exceptional gameplay and leadership our members show whilst having an insane amount of fun doing it, and also having real-lives.
Our current guild event schedule is Saturdays at noon EST (10 am MST, 9 AM PST). We may add more guild event time slots in the future. It depends on our size, success, and member interest. By "guild events" we mean fort/world boss raids primarily, but also things like group/campaign quest assistance, pvp raids on enemy territory, and dungeon crawling. Whilst these may occur spontaneously at any time during the week, it is at these schedule times we guarantee it is happening. There may, of course, be level restrictions on these guild events, mostly determined by those members in attendance.
We have a 24/7 Ventrillo server setup, see the guild information in-game for connection info.
What are we looking for?
1. A very positive attitude and a desire to be involved in a family that has a strong belief in fair gameplay and competence. Fair gameplay being expressed not only towards family members, but openly being given to all players of the same faction (we don’t expect you to show the enemy any mercy). You are the sort of person that seeks to compete with yourself, not everyone else around you.
2. You must be mature adult comfortable with the level of chat associated with being a mature adult. Whilst this means you must have some tolerance for profanity and adult topics, it also means you know how to communicate without every other word being some sort of vulgarity.
3. The realization that in SC real-life always comes first! Your real-world family, friends, acquaintances are number one, and we expect you to nurture those ties ahead of nurturing your Aion world.
4. You better not be a whiner or beggar. If you’re either, don’t bother applying. You will be removed instantly.
5. Post an application in our Recruitment forum. Contact any of SC online and they will direct you to a officer for a tag.

Pronunciation: \?thre-n?-d?\
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural thren·o·dies
Etymology: Greek thr?n?idia, from thr?nos dirge + aeidein to sing
Date: 1634
1: a song of lamentation for the dead : elegy
Threnody is a "casual" Aion legion based on the Kaisinel server. It is being built from the ground up on the belief that all members should have equal say in steering the legion’s direction through group decision making. Officer titles are more of a formality than anything; those who demonstrate a will to assist in guild organization will be trusted with housekeeping (eg: invite privileges, legion bank, website management, officer meetings, etc). You can think of the officers more as secretaries. These positions will be rotated at regular intervals (3 months, at the moment) to keep them open for new, enthusiastic members to have a shot.
WHO THRENODY IS LOOKING FOR
Anyone with a sense of humor, an open mind, and a willingness to learn who enjoys playing Aion would be a welcome addition to Threnody. Nobody is perfect. I hope to see legion members improve their skill in all aspects of the game. This could possibly mean that people will give you (or me) suggestions. If you are not open to suggestions please don’t apply. There will never at any point be attendance requirements or anything else that would put tension between playing Aion and life outside of Aion. How often one plays and one does when they play is their choice. For example: I am a graduate student studying music (hence the legion’s name, wakka wakka wakka) and teaching. Demands on my time are greater during the semester and lesser during breaks, so my play time widely fluctuates. It is absolutely fine if yours does the same. The game is clearly founded on social experience and group play, which Threnody is meant to facilitate. Legion members are preferably social people.
REQUIREMENTS
There no level or class requirements for the time being. At the moment my own character is only level 29. Some say that the journey is half of the fun and I’m inclined to agree. This may change in the future as legion members move up in level and begin to focus on a particular type of content.
"Maturity" is a word that is often mentioned as a requirement for guilds in online games. In some sense it will be a requirement here as well. I’m not starting a guild because I like to mediate or police. Guild chat should be open to discussion of anything. That said, legion members should also have enough tact and group awareness to avoid being needlessly offensive. If you’re looking to start fights please don’t apply. If you are looking to make guild chat an uncomfortable place to be, again, please don’t apply. This doesn’t mean don’t troll, don’t tell crude jokes, or any of that. Just be cognizant.
APPLICATIONS & MISCELLANEOUS NITTY-GRITTY
If you’ve made it to the end of this and are still considering applying to Threnody, please head to the wonderfully generic looking threnody.guildlaunch.com. I’ve sketched out some rough ideas about how I’m envisioning guild organization. Anything there is open to be modified by the guild as it develops and only represents the present mentality. If you have any questions shoot Elhyam a message in game or PM me on the forums.
We’re just a small legion of friends from around the world that enjoy rolling together and helping each other in the world of Aion.
So if you like to have a bit of fun without any drama while killing anything that drops sexy gear or has fur on it’s back then we want you. We are recruiting all classes and are very active in PVE and PVP… oh and crafting apparently.
For applications please visit our shiny new legion website HERE. (please do not post cat pictures in the forums)
Alternately please send a tell to myself Tenjin, Dani or Kiyomi.

We are a close-knit group of mature and professional people that have come together for pvp’ing on the Elyos-side of the Kaisinel server
We are a collection of experienced players who enjoy all aspects of the game. We have a desire for game progression with a friendly, respectful atmosphere. We believe in slow and steady growth in numbers of like-minded people. Drama is simply not allowed nor is it tolerated. The most important thing in a game is to have fun so don’t expect harshrules nor to be berated for mistakes. We run with a mantra that it is better to give than receive – this applies to helping out new legion-mates as well as spilling the blood of Asmos.
We have a few simple guidelines:
Be active
lvl20 +
Age 20+
No alts
No drama
Use Vent during sieges or for any legion pvp squad runs
Please see our forum for more info as well as to apply. You can also speak with me or Volstad in game as well.

Phoenix Order is a casual Legion, that began as a linkshell on Final Fantasy XI back in 2003. Most of the names, and of course the game has changed, but we still remain committed to our original goal of being a fun Legion for everyone involved.
Before I get into anything else, I will say it right now… if you are a super hardcore PvPer, this probably is not the Legion for you. We do/plan to do all game content including Fortress sieges, but most of our members don’t have very much interest in ganking for its own sake. So if you like to go rifting solely to kill some Asmos, or simply patrolling the Abyss looking for a fight, you might not find a whole lot of people particularly interested. Of course, we all have a "mean streak", and nothing is stopping such events from happening when there is interest.
Now, on to what we are all about. We’re all about having fun! We try to foster a helpful attitude in the Legion, and very often some of our higher level members can be seen helping lowbies with quests/missions. When possible, Legion members love to group together and explore the game’s content, or even just go grinding together to relieve some of the monotony. Sometimes, we’ll just chill in town and be silly. We are a level 3 Legion, with about 20 active members plus alts. I’m not looking to fill us to our 90 member limit, quality is much better than quantity in my opinion. We have a strict no drama policy, anyone starting drama will be dealt with. Loot is distributed on a "need before greed" basis, with members in need of an item getting priority on lotting. We keep a well stocked Legion Warehouse that our crafters keep filled with the essentials for leveling along with a healthy stock of Manastones.
What we’re looking for!
Basically, we are looking for open minded, mature players looking to have some fun with the game. Your class is not particularly important, though if we receive a lot of applicants I will be striving to have class balance to ensure that nobody is left out of instance runs and such. I will say right now, sometimes the Legion chat can get in to areas that are not exactly kid friendly, so if you would be offended by such chat beware. We don’t have any level or playtime requirements, when you’re on you’re on. Our peak activity period is in the evening to late night PST, but we do have people who play at all hours. Most players in the Legion are currently in the 20-40 range, but people are always leveling alts and such.
Rules/policies in a nutshell
That’s about it! We don’t currently have a website, though I do plan to set one up at some point. If you’re interested in joining, send a whisper to Raelissa, Allie, or Doiden ingame, or post here. Thanks for reading, and hope to hear from some folks soon!
