You know what? If I could do that, I’d probably think I was OP too.

Open in a new window and watch in HD 720p. This video shows some of the funniest kills I’ve had during the past month or so. Who says ganking and "easy" kills aren’t fun? Plenty of laughs to be had, and really, this is where the assassin really shines. Endless possibilities…
Open in a new window and watch in HD 720p. My latest exploit. Pure aerial combat against opponents like MR clerics, fenril mages, etc, etc. While sins are not the strongest in air combat, they certainly do NOT suck. If you have trouble in the air as a sin, then the problem lies with YOU, your connection and your computer’s performance, not the game itself.

"With every patch, we’ll potentially overpower one class and under-power another, so this is a way to balance out the gladiator and the warriors as opposed to rangers and assassins that can use two single-handed weapons…"
So they do this on purpose…I’m not sure how this balances classes, maybe this makes sense to every1 else tho.

Gonna be sweet to have even slots with sins, gonna be sweet to match DW dmg, gonna be sweet to feed on the sin tears.
GAME ON, BRUV!

There seems to be a level 48 skill (1.9) and 51/53/55 skills (2.0) that are coming out for each class
So like the chanters do you think theres any chance we could have a gander at ours? xD :sparkles:
Btw i’m not expecting you to pull it out of your *** Unless you want to o.O :suave: I do have the link
The link with images is here:
Google Translate
I’m sure the other classes would appreciate seeing theirs too (except sorc’s and clerics ofc (we don’t want to frown any more than we already are) :sigh::cry:
Yeah our class got picked to show the new skill chains and stigma setups
Look at the two skills in the bottom right corner of the image
They look sexy imo
WTH do you think they are? :suave:
Could it spell potential good times?:jealous:
btw lets try to ignore the crappy pre requisites lol
As said it will be new skills so we can expect that they wont be making any changes to game mechanics, diminishing returns on stuns or temporary immunity after one stun would be the most likely game mechanic changes but we can be 99% sure to rule that out.
While specifics are unknown we can assume it will provide immunity or increased resistance to stun, and that all or most classes will have access to it in some form.
That said most people lean toward a "worst case scenario" and assume immunity, although even increased resistance would make things more difficult and possibly even worse being that our fights would completely random and uncontrollable.
My speculation is it will come in one of a few forms.
1. A new Focused Evasion/Aethertwisting for stun in specific, probably similar in duration(5-8 seconds.)
2. A Long duration buff that absorbs the first stun(2-5 minute cooldown with an equivalent duration. This was the fix used in DAoC called Brittle Guard)
3. Short and/or long duration UD type of skill which depending on class would have varying chance of resistance from almost immunity like UD currently is to probably to only a 20% resistance.
4. Permabuff that reduces your chance of being stunned(Although this is highly unlikely it is possible some classes may get this, ranger for example since they already have a few skills they can keep always up but only two at a time.)
5. Worst case scenario… It’s a new passive all classes can pickup that provides increased resistance that comes at early levels(25-30ish) and stays effective all the way through to 50. Anything else and it wouldn’t actually combat the stunlocked until dead scenario. Which means it’s also the most likely to happen.
<Disclaimer> These have no real basis, I haven’t seen the patch notes. I’m just using logic to make assumptions. <Disclaimer>
Now when you consider each of these also think about other classes. Chanters for example have a stun on a long cooldown, it would be far too much of a nerf for #1 or #2 to happen so in my opinion thats out, #3 wouldn’t help when being stunlocked, granted UD works for glads/temps but they have the HP to live through the stunlock and still be 60-70% while most other classes would be dead or at the very least so low that we don’t need our stuns anymore to finish them. #4 I already said is highly unlikely just because it makes more sense as a passive because anything less then always on would just make it like #3.
Which leaves us with #5, there is already so much RNG in this game that honestly I see this as the most likely option(from both perspectives of players wanting to combat stun and as a game developer with limited time to code new skills), this would also be the most difficult option for us to counter and would be the only one to provide protection from stunlock but still allow other classes with a stun to do their thing. In time it would settle down to be the norm and would make the least complaints.
tl;dr Regardless of everything I said something new is coming to combat stuns. We use stuns which means we will die more then we currently do. We might die 100% more often, we might die only .1% more often but any nerf to stun is going to effect the survival of our class.
other notes:
-level cap increased to 55 in 2.0
-templars will have a skill to increase enmity
-new limited items for sale to use in crafting that to make items that are weaker than draconic/abyss items, meant to help light users skill up
-ground abyss added in 2.0
-ground abyss fortresses will have other ways to conquer them besides killing the guardian deity general
-non combat pets added in 2.0 (like a dog that follows you around)
-more orange (eternal quality) items added in 2.0
——————
Seeing as we’re the only class that relies heavily on stuns…ugh.

I have no problem with solo twinks running around ganking. You at least have a small chance to defend yourself and they tend to stick to areas with high level players. But two of them versus a regular player is just slaughter. To make matters worse there was an actual group of 6 of them together.
They need to implement a ground Abyss ASAP. I think the issue is people hate flying combat so they rift. They need a place for people to go PvP with people their level and leave the questing carebears alone for a little. Have a couple areas with level caps for PvP so those level 35 twinks can go PvP with level 40+ players like they should be instead of ganking players that have no chance to defend themsleves.
