So…I’ve heard this one a few occasions. People say that at level 50 Chanters are OP. I don’t get it. Sure, if you have full Miragents/Fenril gear and weapon with all green stones and enhancements, of course you will be OP.

But for us regular people with average/decent armor who are still using Xeno/Betoni at level 50 because we can’t afford better and have no luck with loot in instances, how are we OP? Recovery Spell is nice, but doesn’t make us OP IMO.

I’m curious about the logistics of Gender Change.

If you change gender, do you also get to alter your appearance at the same time, or do you also need to get an appearance change ticket as well?

And if you don’t get the appearance ticket, how does your character look from just changing gender? xD

I cannot login to my AionOnline account at work because of firewall/proxy issues. I am, however, a broker junkie and I am going crazy not being able to check my broker status for 10 hours while I’m at work. It’d be nice if there was a mobile app I can use to check some basic information like that.

I’m not sure about other classes, but the advanced stigma portion of the stigma calculator for Chanters is incorrect. At the moment, it lists Rage Spell I and Binding Word I as requisite skills for Stamina Restoration I, but in actuality Rage Spell I, is the only requisite skill for Stamina Restoration I while Splash Swing I and Binding Word I are requisite skills for Blessing of Wind I.

Could someone please post the levels you get another stigma slot. I am trying to plan how I am going to arrange my stigmas as I level but I’m not sure how many slots I have at each level passed 40.

So far, I know:

Level 20 = 2 Slots
Level 30 = 3 Slots
Level 40 = 4 Slots

Please let me know the rest until level 50. Thanks.

With all the debate going on about Chain vs Leather, and with double exp weekends, I thought I’d make another Chanter and try out a leather build for myself.

My question:

What manastones is best to put in your gear?

Crit?
Evasion?
HP?

I’m not really sure. Please advise.

I got this stigma as a drop and I’m trying to figure out how much its worth. There aren’t any on the broker on my server at the moment and it seems like a very good stigma for PvP so I’m thinking its probably worth a lot. But I have no idea of the scale.

How much is it going for now on your servers?

So you know how sometimes a new skill replaces an older skill that does pretty much the same thing? For example: Light of Renewal is replaced by Word of Revival. Meaning you can’t use them both at the same time.

I was wondering if Splash Swing and Parrying Strike work the same way since they are both counter-parry attacks.

The thing is, Splash Swing is pretty expensive and although it is more powerful than Parrying Strike, PS stun has saved my butt on more than one occasion in both PVE and PVP.

If I can use them both, great. If not, I need to make a decision on which one I’m going to use so I don’t waste stigma shards and money that could be better used for other stigmas.

I was in a group the other day and the Templar I was running with said if there’s a Chanter in the group and they wipe, he blames the Chanter for not giving the emergency heal.

So my question is, is this guy a ‘tard or is that the general consensus?

Personally, I only feel like we can be responsible to an extent. Sure, we should be ready to off-heal as necessary, and often times it helps tremendously, but if someone is getting raped by 3 or 4 elites and the Cleric can’t save you, there’s not much a Chanter’s heal can do for you. I hope people are aware of that.

So for those of you who have been to FT, you know that in the first large room, there are the fire mobs on either side.

Templars usually like to kill the pat, then go through the middle, but I’ve noticed (at least in my groups), that 9 times out of 10, SOMEONE will aggro the mobs on one or both of the sides. I’ve done it once or twice myself.

So what’s your experience?

PS: For those of you who will reply with something along the lines of, "I ran FT 300+ times and no one ever aggro’d. Anyone who aggros is a terrible player and should quit now!", you can go nyerk yourself. =)

Why do we even have this skill? Might have been useful at lower levels but after 25 its pretty much useless. Its weak and doesn’t even stack. I only use it because I’m anal about having full life and I don’t like to see my bar so close to full but not there and I dont want to waste the MP to do a full heal.

Since I can’t find the @Ayase thread for some reason, I’m posting here in hopes that someone who knows something will reply.

Server changes are supposed to be implemented sometime this month but we still haven’t received any details on it. I need to know so I can plan accordingly. There are still so many unknowns.

Which servers are you allowing moves to?
How many characters can you move?
Do your characters remain exactly the same after you move (i.e Abyss rank, points, cube and warehouse expansions, crafting skills)?
Will you be able to rename your characters if the server you want to move to already has a character with your name?
It has been mentioned that the first move will be free, but after that how much will it cost to move?

I’m sure there are many more questions but these are the basic ones that would help to plan our moves.

So, in another thread, someone said people don’t post enough that they love Aion and it’s true. There are many threads about the stuff that’s wrong with Aion, many of which are valid points.

However, I want to say that despite all its problems, I really love this game and I will continue to play it for a long time. =) Discuss.

So I’m currently level 36 and I haven’t started any profession yet. Are there any that are really useful for Chanters?

I’m not talking about getting one and leveling it to sell stuff, cause I don’t really feel like doing it unless it has an immediate benefit for me, like Sorcerer/SM and Alchemy.

I thought about it a bit, and I can’t really see any profession that might be really good for us. I rarely see any chain mail or staff designs so I’m thinking armorsmith and weapon (or was it handicraft?) would be pretty useless.

So are there any professions that might be useful for us or should I just save my money?
