I cannot understand why everybody hates botters. In my opinion, botters do NOTHING negative for me.

Other than the first few days AION was released, I have never had a botter take my grind spots. They have had nothing but good things for me, and I will explain below.

Botters are grinding 24/7. They find items, and put it on broker for cheap. Before the first big bot bannage, on Azphel Asmodian side atleast, Expert Fine Armor Flux / Expert Major Armor Flux sold for maximum 250k respectively.

After banning, both are selling easly 850k. T

This is a spit in the face of crafters. I baught my Expert Xilix Shoes for 300k. Now, it takes a good 2-3 million to craft.

What has banning bots done?

Makes the broker a dead zone. Nobody buys, nobody sells.
Makes getting 449 crafting harder. Makes crafting more expensive, harder to sell your crafts. Harder to get profit

If you want to gear up your character, guess what, 3x the price. Enjoy spending your account savings on a few pieces of gear.

The game has become more stale since botters left. Nothing good on broker, anything good its horribly overpriced to the point that I can’t buy it.

One major misconception people have is Botters = Gold Spammers
THIS IS NO TRUE

Gold spammers are run by software that spams every few seconds yes, but BOTTING, and by botting I mean automated monster killing software, it is not gold spammers.

People relate their hate for spamming gold to bots, but when you think about it, bots just make the economy better.

In other games this might not be the case, but for aion, it most certaintly is.

Also, those who say people need to work for their grind, that is your opinion, and people live different lifestyles than you.

I know in many of my friend’s cases right now, either they bot to level or they quit the game. Simple as that.

Aion’s Grind (does not equal) PERIOD.

Those who are torturing themselves and forcing themselves like a job to level, you have to understand other people have more priorities than just this game (Not talking about other games, I’m talking about adult priorities)

So ask yourself. What other reason do I dislike botters other than my own greedy opinions?
