Griefing … RMT Ramifications on Endgame: NCSoft Please Fix
1) Griefing/Harassment – What is going to be done about this?
My legion has been actively trying to defeat several world bosses including but not limited to the level 40’s. We have been griefed by well known RMT players on about 80% of the "non Abyss" bosses we have defeated lately. Players who decide that it is ok to train 15-25 monsters on top of us while we fight.
We have reported this time and time again. Up until today, we have received the same response.

Such a response is beyond inane. First, you can not change channels in Eltnen, Heiron, Beluslan and Morheim where these encounters take place. Second, harassment of other players is not against the rules? Come on, there is a wider definition of harassment than simple chat.
Today we finally got a sympathetic GM to come and watch and assist us while fighting Grand Chieftain. She descended and watched the RMT player train us repeatedly. At first doing nothing, then despawning monsters after they aggroed our group and healed the boss to near full. Finally she despawned the mobs before they were even close to the group. She protected us so we were able to play the game. However, after she did, all she could do to the player was "write a report" about his action and was unable to tell us what would happen to him and his account. The player was not banned, and was still online actively trying to kill us when we defeated the monster.
My question to Ayase, Tamat and the other devs is why do you guys let this stuff happen and then handcuff your GMs so they are unable to actually do their job? In ANY other MMO this player would have at the very least be sent to a "jail zone" or temporarily suspended for a few hours so his actions were not able to be continued. The GM was unable to do these things and the player in question knew it. He knew the GM was there (She waved at him before we even engaged) and he still repeatedly griefed us.
This is the type of situation that if left to continue without consequence that will cause Aion to fail. As many players will begin to say to themselves "Why should I continue to play this game when it is so easy for a single player to destroy the fun for so many."
2) Bots and Botting (Not RMT) – Why can you not fix this?
It is one thing to not be able to remove the RMT bots fast enough. You have said they just use fake credit and create new accounts and a new bot is made. However, its not just the RMT that are botting. Many "real" players are botting up a storm. The same "real" players that play 2-3 hours every third day but are literally on 24/7 botting in one area or another. (There’s a bot on my server that literally hasnt left a 40-43 area that in now 47 because he has botted the area 24/7 for 2 weeks.)
I find it hard to believe that there is not some way to know which are bots and which are not. The players in the area know who they are. You have tried to give us the power to report these people. However, it just doesn’t work as well as it needs to. If a single GM took 30 minutes a day to run across one zone a day on a server you could handle a huge amount of bots each day. Yet, people report the same bots in the same spot killing the same monsters for 2 weeks straight and the player is still around? It is time to put some money into GM staff if you want the game to continue to make you money.
3) Real Money Traders – Bots and actual Players alike need to go.
I am 100% positive that if you went on any server and asked people 30+ who the RMT are you will get the same answer. On my server their names are Supercat, Ghostw, Nescafe, Dirty, Jailbait and many more. These are the people who we know are only killing certain Hero and Legendary monsters for the express purpose of selling the drops and then reselling said kinah for real money. If the players know who these people are, then the GM staff should know who these people are.

Please, I really do enjoy this game. However, each time I have to deal with RMT or botters in general I have to question why I am really playing. There is already a serious lack of options once you hit 50. To have these options limited by people just in it to make real money instead of playing the game is going to end up getting deleted from my hdd and many others. The product is good, the implementation and support have HUGE issues that need NCSoft West to step up and fix its house or the cards are gonna all fall down.
